Description
The Air Up There is a sports comedy starring Kevin Bacon as Jimmy Dolan, a fast-talking college basketball coach who travels to Winabi, Africa in search of new all-star talent. There he discovers Saleh, a towering native warrior with natural basketball ability, but must convince him and his tribe to buy into the pressure-filled world of college sports. The story culminates when the Winabi decide to settle a dispute with a neighboring tribe on the basketball court. Released in 1994 by Hollywood Pictures and distributed on VHS by PolyGram/Buena Vista Home Video.
