Frequently Asked Questions
What heavy metal and hard rock magazines does Keystone Crypt carry?
Our metal magazine selection includes Circus, Metal Edge, RIP Magazine, Metal Maniacs, Metal Mania, Faces Rocks, Hard Rock Magazine, and more — covering everything from classic rock and glam metal to thrash, death metal, and the extreme underground. It's one of the most comprehensive vintage metal magazine inventories you'll find anywhere.
Why are vintage metal magazines so collectible?
The 1980s and early 1990s were the golden age of both heavy metal and music journalism — and these magazines captured it in real time with photography, interviews, and editorial intensity that no streaming service can replicate. Issues with early coverage of Metallica, Pantera, or Guns N' Roses before their mainstream breakthrough are especially prized by collectors.
