Description
Switching Channels is a 1988 screwball romantic comedy set in the fast-paced world of broadcast news. Glamorous TV anchorwoman Christy Colleran (Kathleen Turner) finds herself caught between her lunatic ex-boss and ex-husband Sully (Burt Reynolds) and handsome tycoon Blaine Bingham (Christopher Reeve) as she plans to leave the newsroom for love. Directed by Ted Kotcheff, the film is a modern remake of the classic newspaper comedies The Front Page and His Girl Friday.
