This 1985 werewolf thriller is set in the small town of Tarker's Mills, where a string of brutal killings terrorizes the community and a 13-year-old boy who has used a wheelchair since birth may be the only one brave enough to stop the creature. Stephen King adapted the screenplay from his own novelette Cycle of the Werewolf, and Daniel Attias directed. The cast is led by Gary Busey, Everett McGill and Corey Haim, with creature effects by three-time Oscar winner Carlo Rambaldi (E.T., Alien, King Kong). Produced by Dino De Laurentiis, the film is rated R and runs 95 minutes in color. This Paramount release comes in a cardboard slipcase with the original Paramount-labeled tape.
