So I Married an Axe Murderer is the 1993 romantic comedy starring Mike Myers as Charlie MacKenzie, a commitment-shy San Francisco coffee house poet. Charlie finally meets the seemingly perfect woman, butcher Harriet Michaels, then starts to suspect she may be a notorious killer who marries her husbands and then murders them. Directed by Thomas Schlamme, the film co-stars Nancy Travis as Harriet and Anthony LaPaglia as Charlie's detective friend, and Myers also plays Charlie's loud Scottish father. It has become a cult favorite for its quotable lines and Myers' dual roles. This is the original U.S. VHS release from Columbia TriStar Home Video in a cardboard slipcase sleeve. The tape is in VHS Hi-Fi Stereo, is closed captioned, is rated PG-13 and runs approximately 93 minutes. This copy is a former rental tape with video store labels.
