The collection follows Ash Ketchum, Pikachu, Misty, Brock, and the ever-scheming Team Rocket across their journey through the Kanto region as Ash works to become a Pokemon Master. Each tape contains full-length episodes drawn from the classic first-generation anime and includes a bonus PokeRap on many volumes. Titles in this lot are: Our Hero Meowth, The Po-Ke Corral!, The Final Badge, Primeape Problems, Poke-Friends, Pikachu Party, The Mystery of Mount Moon, Totally Togepi, The Great Race, I Choose You! Pikachu!, The Sisters of Cerulean City, and Seaside Pikachu. The tapes feature fan-favorite characters including Squirtle, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Clefairy, Togepi, Meowth, and of course Pikachu.
