Description
Circus of Fear is a 1966 British crime thriller with horror overtones. A precisely timed heist leads to murder and mayhem at a traveling circus, and Inspector Elliott follows the trail of the stolen cash into the Barberini Circus, where a phantom killer stalks the performers. Horror legend Christopher Lee plays Gregor, the hooded, disfigured lion tamer. Klaus Kinski, Suzy Kendall and Leo Genn co-star, with Anthony Newlands, Heinz Drache and Victor Maddern. The film was directed by John Llewellyn Moxey, credited on the packaging as John Moxie, from a screenplay by Peter Welbeck. This is the Alpha Video DVD release, catalog number ALP 6055D, with package design dated 2003. The packaging lists a black and white presentation with a 91-minute runtime.
