Description
Bacchanales Sexuelles is a 1970s French erotic thriller from cult filmmaker Jean Rollin, best known for his dreamlike vampire and fantastique films such as The Shiver of the Vampires and The Iron Rose. The film plunges into a secretive, decadent world of ritual, seduction and intrigue, rendered with the lurid colour and stylised imagery that define Rollin's work. This French release presents the film on two discs, a 4K Ultra HD disc and a standard Blu-ray disc. Both discs carry purple patterned label art and are housed in a fold-out digipak with interior film-still artwork. The set comes with a matching cardboard slipcover featuring the iconic chainmail costume image, with the title printed on the spine. The spine carries the logo of the French boutique label Le Chat Qui Fume, known for its high-end restorations of European cult and genre cinema. This is a sought-after piece for collectors of Jean Rollin, Eurocult and French genre film. This product is in Very Good condition.
