What VHS tapes do you sell at Keystone Crypt?

We carry a wide variety of VHS tapes across all genres -- horror, sci-fi, comedy, anime, kids and family, mystery, thriller, drama, wrestling, and more. Our inventory includes individual titles, franchise releases, and compilation tapes from the full VHS era (1970s through the early 2000s).

Are your VHS tapes in good condition?

Every VHS tape at Keystone Crypt is hand-inspected before listing. We check tapes for playability and describe condition honestly in each listing. Most of our inventory is in excellent or very good used condition unless otherwise noted.

Why collect VHS tapes?

VHS offers something no digital format can replicate -- the warmth and grain of analog playback, original cover art and packaging, full-frame presentations of classic films, and the physical experience of a format that defined movie culture for two decades. Many films were never released on DVD or streaming and can only be found on tape. VHS collecting is also one of the most affordable ways to build a physical media library.

Do I need a VCR to play VHS tapes?

Yes -- VHS tapes require a VCR (videocassette recorder) or a VHS-capable combo player. VCRs are widely available secondhand at thrift stores, estate sales, and online. Many collectors pair their tape libraries with a well-maintained VCR for the full analog experience.

Can I find rare or out-of-print VHS tapes at Keystone Crypt?

Yes. We specialize in secondhand physical media and often carry titles that were never released on DVD or streaming and can only be found on tape. Our inventory changes frequently, so check back regularly for new additions.

Do you ship VHS tapes?

Yes -- we ship all orders across the United States. Tapes are packed carefully to protect them in transit. See our shipping policy for current rates and estimated delivery times.
