What anime and animated VHS tapes do you carry at Keystone Crypt?

Our anime and animated VHS inventory includes a wide range of titles -- classic theatrical animation, TV series episodes and compilations, early Funimation and Pioneer anime pressings, Western animated films, and direct-to-video animated features. We carry both individual titles and multi-volume series collections.

Are your anime and animated VHS tapes in good condition?

Every VHS at Keystone Crypt is hand-inspected before listing. We check tapes for playability and describe condition accurately. Most of our inventory is in excellent or very good used condition unless otherwise noted.

What anime VHS tapes are most collectible?

Highly sought-after titles include early Funimation, Pioneer, and Bandai pressings of popular series, dubbed editions of classic films before they were widely reissued, limited domestic releases of cult anime, and collector-edition packaging from the early 2000s VHS-to-DVD transition era. Original Streamline Pictures releases are particularly popular.

Why collect anime on VHS?

The early 1990s VHS era was formative for anime in North America. Many titles had their first domestic releases on tape, often in dubbed form with original cover art and localized packaging that later DVD releases replaced. Collecting these tapes is a way to preserve the history of how anime arrived in Western markets.

Can I find out-of-print or rare anime VHS tapes here?

Absolutely. We specialize in secondhand physical media and frequently carry anime titles that are out of print, never reissued, or unavailable on streaming. If you collect early domestic anime releases, our collection is worth checking regularly.

Do you ship anime and animated VHS tapes?

Yes -- we ship across the United States. All tapes are packed carefully to protect them in transit. See our shipping policy for current rates and estimated delivery times.
