Description
This is a vintage HP SureStore CD-ROM Tower Server (Model J3276A), an enterprise-class multi-disc tower designed in the late 1990s to host and share multiple CDs over a network. Inside are six HP CD-32X drives along with the original controller module.
These towers were deployed in corporate and educational environments as “CD servers” before large hard drives and fast networks became standard. Today, they are extremely uncommon, especially with the original drives and the lock/key intact.
Key Features:
• Model: HP SureStore J3276A (MPN J3276A)
• Includes 6 × HP CD-32X drives (2 eject, 4 stuck)
• Locking front panel with original key
• Tower form factor with integrated fans and AT-style power supply
• Powers on (switch missing, default state is ON)
Notes:
• Sold untested beyond powering on; drives not guaranteed to function.
• Cosmetic wear, missing case screws (see photos).
• Ideal for collectors of vintage HP, retro IT hardware, or restoration projects.
